Artemis Great Kindrochit Quadrathlon
Saturday 6 July 2019
For the Artemis Great Kindrochit Quadrathlon, the second in our 2019 series of stewarding, Team Ruskie were paired with the charming and hardworking Megan and her husband Rodolfo to man (and woman) the McLaren Hall Killin fish and chip stop on the final cycle stage of the event.
The first competitors went whizzing past early, not even stopping for a drink, meaning a slow start for us but a good opportunity to practice our cheering. Later on in the day cyclists descended on our wee gazebo and thoroughly enjoyed the fish, chips and haggis … all served with plenty of salt and a good helping of positivity from the Killin Stop team. We promise we’ll ask for more haggis next year – and maybe even a deep fried mars bar as a special request!
As is traditional for Ruskie, Helen Little Allison McLeod Liz Black Anne Artis, Eva, Pamela Deans and Ann Brown rounded the day off with a lovely meal, this time at the Courie Inn.
All in all another great Wild Fox Event, perfect Scottish Weather and amazing performance from all the competitors!
