Ruskie Rural were invited again by Wild Fox Events to help marshall the Glencoe Marathon and Half Marathon on Sunday 14th Sep.

Liz , Helen and Doreen went to the Nevis Centre on Saturday 13th to register the runners.

Two teams went up on Sunday - one at Kinlochleven ( Liz , Ann , Linda , Seona ) to register and cheer off the half marathon runners and then to provide refreshments and timings as the full marathon runners passed through. The second team ( Anne , Lottie , Mary , Heather ) were at the Glencoe Mountain Resort to greet the runners with a huge cheer and their medals.

It was lots of fun. The weather was very kind to us all and the rain stayed away for most of the day.

We had a hot drink in the resort cafe before heading home to Callander.
